AUNTIE FOR THE 3RD TIME

Hello everyone!!!!!!! extremely happy this Monday i became a Aunt for the 3rd time after 13 years of my little niece being born. We have an infant she came 1 month early :( but we are all happy and rejoicing on how God is so good. My sis Blood Pressure went crazy and she had to have an emergency c section at 34 weeks. I am so happy because the Doctors are so amazed on what a strong healthy baby she is :) She is a CASTRO (thats my last name). Just wanted to share this! also hahahahaha we were left with all the invitation and goodness they where gorgeous! Well guys i am on auntie mode right now haven't had the chance to see my desk at all. As soon as i have more pages i will be back!!!!!! HAPPY CRAFTING!!!!!!

Mother's day cards

Today I decided to make  some Mother's days cards not feeling to well today ill post some pictures happy crafting! !!!!

Day 4

Hi everyone today was a day where I had a little bit more time to craft. I made some pages for my mini album that I'm working on. I had fun today, my sister is trying to convince me to make a video. I think I'm not ready yet. I took a break and I also made some birthday cards turned out very pretty. I will share with you my pictures of my mini album and I will also share with you the pictures of my birthday cards. On one of my birthday cards I used a die that my boyfriend got for me for Valentines it's absolutely gorgeous he got me 4 :).  They're absolutely gorgeous on 2 of my cards I used two different dies by memory box. thank you for reading my blog and happy crafting!!!!!!!

Day 3 on my Mini

Hello everyone,

This is Day 3 of my mini. I think this is going to take make a little longer to make. I was able to create one page yesterday. Mondays i have my bible study class, Today service at church and Thursday service at church. So this one will be a little longer than the others. But let me tell you the paper looks old! Pictures don't do this page justice i used some masking tape to give the paper some texture and stamped over it with a Tim Holtz vintage stamp and wow looks great. I took some picture and i just saw them and well it looks better in person. I am having fun with this mini. In the picture because of the flash the masking tape shows but in person it is covered by vintage distressed ink and looks more like textured.

 I took a small break in between and made a birthday card :).
trying out different colors. on my card i used a metallic yellow paper and black and on the background of the card i use some perfect pearls gold and sunflower color and the blended perfectly. Happy Crafting!!!!!

DAY 2 ON MINI ALBUM

Day 2 working on some pages for my mini album. Hard to concentrate on this one. I have never made a burgundy vintage mini. Here goes nothing :) sharing my first 2 pages with you. I am working with Tim Holtz distressed ink pads and DCWV vintage paper. Most of my embellishments I have found everywhere. From Ross to Downtown LA. The ones on these pages are made out of glass and they are beautiful sometimes pictures just don't do justice to what you are trying to show. feel free to leave you comment :).

NEWS!!!
Today i decide to go to the 99 cent store i usually find my scotch 3 ml mounting tape there but no luck today.
For all you scrapbooker's out there they have the scotch clear glue sticks for those that have never used them they are awesome!!! i got about 8 pks. I also found some Brads and Metal buttons from Kathy David (journey collection) YES 99 cents. I paid 5.99 for these at Joann. I found Paper packs with gorgeous paper any where from 12 to 24 sheets 12 x 12 YES 99 cents a pk. You just never know what you will find there. I also found some DCWV long envelopes with a tint of pearl accent on them just beautiful each pack has 10 envelopes. I felt like I hit a jackpot!!!!! :)))) happy crafting!!!

New mini album

Hello everyone getting ready to start preparing for my new mini scrapbook. I woke up this morning with many ideas. I set up my desk and getting ready to start my book.  Very excited to see what this project takes me too. I have decided to use the background of my mini the color burgundy I usually use black. I am working with some Tim holtz tissue. I am working with some of Tim Holtz distress inks. I'll show you my set up and progress as the days go by. Here goes day one. BIRTHDAY CARDS

Wanted to share 2 quick cards i made. I actually found this very cute paper pack with cut outs and sticker and banners and the paper is double sided and its totally beautiful and i found it in Ross for 2.99 and its so wonderful!!!!!!!!!!! On one of my cards i pop up some hearts and the paper is so cute. On the pop up i glitter the hearts with stickles from Tim Holtz (got to love those stickles). On the other one i just punch the top edge with a we r memory punch and layered paper and added a sentiment with a sticker heart. Take a look at the card they are cute (well to me :)))). until next time happy crafting!!!!

MAKING ORANGE CARDS

MAKING ORANGE CARDS (SORRY) Could not think of a name :)


        Many time we discriminate against some colors (me) i hardly ever use Orange or Green cards. This time i decided to make 2 orange cards and let me tell you they turned out so cute. On one i did a whole mix of glitter and punched edges and it looks nice decide to add white. The other one i saw on you tube http://www.youtube.com/user/Illeana29?feature=watch this lady she is awesome. Well i copied her card and tried it orange. As you will see in the picture i just had to add some black. Well you tell me how it looks i like to be criticized. Next time i can make it better. I bought this happy Birthday Die on Ebay and OMG its awesome. But there is a catch to it if you are a patient person you can use it with no problem. But me i am not!! So i grab the paper i am going to use and i add scor tape to the back and run it threw the Big Shot and it creates a sticker. 2 way glue is good too but this die cut is so delicate and it keep tearing up on me. So i learned how to cut it out with the scor tape and problem solved.

Exiting News!
Valentine is coming up and been very successful on ebay i have sold every card i have made :) TO ME this is awesome i have received excellent reviews :).
My vintage mini Sold and My orange Flower Mini Sold, My autumn Mini sold and My Polaroid Mini sold!!! Trust me this is exciting news to me. Never did it occur to me to sell them. I would make them and sometime give them away. Or just let them sit there because i would get to attached to them. Little did i know that people would buy them. I don't sell my handmade items expensive. Because i have seen the love in peoples eyes when they receive something that its made by hand rather than store bought. And for someone else to receive something you have handmade with love :) believe me when i tell you that when i make something i put all my love to it (even when i cook too) went of topic there!!!!
But Guess what ill be working on in the next few days? more MINIS. Well till next time Happy Crafting!!!

Bought new stamps & made new cards

Last week I placed an order at Joanns I receive them and I was so wow!!!!! I started immediately making cards Stampin everywhere just to see the images and try to get ideas  to create something nice. I will post some pictures that I took of my cards that I created on that day.

One of my new year's resolutions was to not spend so much money on craft supplies. Good thing I have gift cards lol.  I promised I was going to make the best of it with all that I have. I will but but but I won't pass up a good sale :) thanks for reading happy crafting! !!!!!!!!

Valentine cards February 2 14

This morning I woke up with crafting energy. Made 8 different designs of valentine cards. I found these dies of these hearts at Michael's for $10. I was trying to buy them online for about a month and I could not find them under $25. I was very excited I actually got a lot of things on sale at michaels. They have a lot of great things on clearance. 

These are the different patter papers I used to create this card. Used the heart dies and an awesome valentine stamp I found at michaels. Thanks for reading happy crafting!!!!
