NEW PUNCH BOARD!!!

It is a happy day today i just got my Punch board from We R Memory and the new banner punch board. 

OK so this is the thing i have a punch board already BUT this one is awesome! I give this new punch board thumbs up! The measurements are slightly different from the old one i guess because of the new look. With this new board you are able to make envelopes, bows and boxes. It has an extension for the score line I SO NEEDED THAT! I always had an issue on my large envelopes the score line would not reach all the way down. It has an additional line on the side to make a boxed envelope for those cards that have flowers and embellishments. You are able to make all kind of size bows i LOVE that! You can also make boxes :). All the measurement are on an additional flap that opens and you don't have to pick up your envelope or remove it to see the measurement they are now on the side (easier access). It has the corner puncher and the box punch side to side AND of course the score bone. What i love the most is that it is the same size and not bulky at all!

       The Banner punch I LOVED when i saw it on a you tube CHA video early this year i fell in love with it. Let me tell you for those of us that make our own party decorations this is great for those happy birthday banners. It makes 3 kind of banners. This package was offered by HSN it was a world premier only offered by them it will be available in store in a couple of months so i heard. This bundle came with a 12 x 12 paper pack and washi tape some bakers twine and an app that you can download that if you make a card and the measurements are not in the board you type it in the app and it tells size of paper and score measurements.

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Hope everyone's weekend was great! Mine was :) had my baby girl turn 19 yrs young. Feel so blessed I have been a single mom for 18 years and too see her turn 19 is a great feeling. I can see Gods hand in the mist of my whole life even when i though i was alone i see and realize now that i wasn't. Thankful and grateful only to him THANK YOU JESUS! 

This weekend was Scrapbook Expo and i was not able to go. BUT my sister did. She is my crafting buddy. My sis and i have never had a close relationship. We loved each other but not a relationship God has changed that between us and i can call her one of my best friends, crafting buddy and special lady in my life. So when i go places and she cant i buy for her and me, when she goes places she does the same. She came back telling me i was robbed of a delightful time LOL!!! i am glad i didn't go OMGOODNESS i would of left my saving there lol!!!!! She found and got so much stuff. I want to share some of the stamps she got me. I LOVE THEM! She knows me very well :).

I have not had a chance to play with all of them but i did with one last night and i want to share the card i made with the 3rd stamp on the top.

I know we are not suppose to make plans but hopefully next year if God gives me life i will go!!! Have to go!!!

One more day! for Friday my favorite day of the week!!!!!!

This weekend will be a busy one have 2 birthdays Brothers and Daughters to celebrate.

There is a probability that i will probably not craft this weekend so i have been crafting everyday after work. NEED my hit of adhesive lol!!!! Feeling a little sad my sis and her friend are going to the Scrapbook Convention wish i could go but I LOVE MY FAMILY before my hobby! I rather spend time with them and maybe next year ill go (God willing)

Last week i received my Stampin up Petal Potpourri set and i LOVE it. I bought one for my sister for her birthday and we played with it for a couple of minutes and we loved it so i ordered it for my self :))))).

Took it out last night and made 2 cards with it. I haven't seen any tutorials done with them yet haven't had time to check out you tube. I will thou usually like to make my own creations but sometimes you find out that many ppl think like you and they create something similar to you. 

For these 2 cards below i used some of my left over Birthday paper i used for my cards (was the paperpack i had out at the time).

The first one i punched a border with a Martha Stewart punch and i stamped the flower with a versa-fine purplish color and embossed it with clear embossing powder i added a glittered black brad right in the middle. Used some Purple satin ribbon from my local craft store. I embossed the greeting on Vellum with same color versa-fine ink pad. The greeting is from Spellbinders.

 The second one I used different punch and some stitched ribbon and i embossed on the burgundy back ground paper and punched the flower out of it with a vintage button brad. Greeting is from Simon says March kit. Used my copic pen .03 for the stitched edges.

3rd and 4th cards are repeated stamps set i have used that i Love. The 4th one i made a double shaker card with the flowers from the spellbinders stamps and dies.

Birthday project

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Over the weekend I had Sms haul I posted the video hopefully you guys can take a look at it and give me your thumbs up.

Exciting news (well for me)  Yours truly is turning 40 year young. Age does not get me down. I am very happy and blessed that I am turning 40 and still young at heart I do not feel like I've aged at all. OOPS only when i look in the mirror :(. SO SO SO GRATEFUL TO JESUS!

Back in 2007 i lost my older brother at the age of 34. You really never get over it but you make adjustments in your life because it does change forever. I have out lived my brother by 8 years and i have learned to live and love and forgive life is too short its better to leave great memories behind and have the ones that love you remember you living a fruitful life.

This year i am throwing my own BP!!!! avoiding the drama parties bring so this year decided i will do and pay for everything :) just want to enjoy this day to the fullest,

On Monday when I got home i had a Staampin Up package and i was super happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered 50 so i can get this stamp set free :). Plus a couple of other goodies.
I also received my Spellbinder package from HSN cant wait to get home!!! i am playing with that next. Will post some pictures of the cards made and will post pictures tomorrow of the cards i make tonight.

This time change her in CA kills me we just lost an hour and I am soooooo sleepy. My body takes a while to adjust to the change but anyways wanted to share that with you LOL!

I have exciting news this weekend its the Garage sale weekend for crafters out in Santa Clarita.

I always find awesome stuff for OMGOOOOOODNESS pennies seriously!
The last time i got a bag of stamp with like 10 packs of Clear Stamp Sets for 4.00 YES $4 Bucks.
Truly, seriously, really you cant beat that. YES there are ladies there that try to sell there used item really expensive like regular price sometimes even more that regular price!!!! I don't buy from them:(
Little by little I will get my Crafting crew together so we can all carpool and have fun! for the past 2 years its been my girls and I and i think once my Sister that's Not a crafter I like when she goes because she spoils me and buys me stuff LOL love you Karen!!!! But this is year i have My crafting sister Evelyn that's going (now that her baby is bigger OH YEAH my niece is 1 guys) and a new friend of hers i just meet recently Maricela that's a crafter what a nice lady! So hopefully all goes well and i can share my garage sale haul.

you cant see the 3d embossed background on this one but it is fabulous and the sentiment is stamped with spellbinders ink.

I used my stampin up pansy flower stamp and punch.

used my Unity stamp set and on of the 3D folders 

i really like this one i used the spellbinders 31.95 product with the matching dies and stamps.

It's Friday time to craft!

Happy Friday everyone!

It's finally Friday! This was a very long week for me my boss was out sick and all the work falls on me BUT By the grace of God the week went by quick. I was able to get some crafting done after work. Okay okay okay Crafting for me is therapy whenever I have a hard day at work I go home and make cards. It's a time for me to relax and not think about anything like work bills drama that is my moment when I vent and create. This week was a little hard but I managed to make a couple of cards. I want to share with you the pictures. 

One thing about me that I want to share with you when I buy paper 6 x 6 12 x 12 8 x 8 I usually get home and I tear out the pages to color coordinate them. well at least some of them so when I make my cards I never know who makes the paper. So if you have any questions on the pattern paper you can always message me and I'll do my best to figure out who made the paper or what brand it is. Stamps I do the same thing I rip them off the package and I put them in my binders it's very rare that I don't know the brand because usually I can tell by the way the stamp is design like for example hero arts,stampendous, Gina K designs, fisckar, Tim holtz their style is easy to identify. But there's times when I purchase stamps they're not namebrand and a tearing them out of the package and then I don't who made them. But I have no excuse but I'm a crafter and my plans were never to blog about cards and my projects. never to share pictures about my cards never to sell my cards but it has escalated to people asking me to share my projects and how I make them and I have a couple of faithful followers that love to see my work. Lol one day when I get the courage I will share with you the before and after pics of when I began and I am not advanced but it is a huge difference hahahaha. When I saw a card I made years back I was like OMGOODNESS THAT IS SOOOOOO UGLY LOL. but like everything in life you learn to master your skills and I can say I was born a crafter. I have always loved stamps and stickers, colorful paper with patterns. But was too poor to afford them but now my girls are older and I HAVE MONEY FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ask me do I rather buy a pair of shoes or crafts??????? When it comes to purses I debate a little I am a fanatic of purses but!!!!!!! Love my hobby more than purses.

This one here I used some David tutera silver paper with some recollection flowers and 1 brad and pearls. Black panel embossed with a do crafts swirly embossing folder.

I love this one by far my favorite happy birthday sentiment by stampendous stamped with vintage photo and embossed with clear powder. Distressed my paper and added pearls and I love it. Made with Simon says March kit.

I am finally done with the wedding cards yey!!! Glad to say that they liked them.

Back to crafting I have made many cards since Saturday having so much fun lol!

I decided to join the automatic shipping for Simon says stamps kits of the month. I really like there stuff it's always different. You can find a link on you tube for the Simon says kit for March so you can see what I got. I made some cards with the supplies sent to me I hope you like them.

I also had such an awesome haul!!!!!!!! From Joann I got all my crafts for 50% off. I had been looking for the Tim holtz reinkers for my distress ink pads. I am not lieying when I tell you that I had like 22 in my cart at the Walmart web for 100.00 supposedly they where on sale for 4.50. Something came up that day that I was unable to place the order. But before that I check around and there where the lowest priced. I even checked Joann.com no sale. BUT WOW OMGOODNESS the next day right when I was about to place my order I decided to check michaels and Joann and GUESS WHAT????????? They where on sale for 50%off and I got all of them plus 2 stamps sets and acrylic circle block set and 2 sets of mini Tim holtz stamps and 10 mini versa fine ink pads and the Tim holtz tin container for under 140 yes I was blow away! That made my day!

HAPPY CRAFTING!

This card was made just pattern papers and a simple sentiment. I cut 3 fish tails of the same paper and matching pearls with a white satin ribbon.

Embossed the background with stampin up large dots folder. Used my tag dies and some cappuccino colored ribbon. Stamp from stampendous. 

This one I stamped the stampendous flower on pattern paper and fuzzy cut it out with ribbon and pearls. Too easy!

I love this one so simple and full of blessings pattern paper and some recollection flowers and a pearl. With a pink brad on the tag.

Same like previous different sentiment and color.

I love coffee on this one I pop up the heart on the cup added some white ranger accent to the steam and some stickels to the shaded part on the bottom stamp set from fisckar. Paper pack from stampin up. I am no good with names lol.

Lotus blossom from stampin up gave it a vintage look with black stitched ribbon.

Same like above but on this one added black lace.

These edges are punched out with the new Martha Stewart punches i found at marshalls.
